Successful candidates will be recruited at Scale 3 during training, Upon successful completion of training (approx 12 months) you will move to Scale 4.

You will receive and respond to incoming contacts directed to the Command Hub via any source including 999 emergency, non-emergency and all other contact types. You will accurately assess information in accordance with NCRS standards and record any identified crimes appropriately. You will also provide information to victims on how to obtain or provide updates, relating to their crime.

To be considered, you must have experience of communicating effectively with people at all levels, often in distressing, delicate or confrontational situations. You must also have experience of working in a customer orientated environment. Ideally you will have experience of working in a secure/confidential environment.

You will be expected to work a shift pattern which will cover 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year. Shift patterns and working hours (Part Time/Full Time) will be discussed at interview.

Humberside Police continue to have set criteria in order to be eligible to apply for a vacancy which is: no more than an average of 11 working days per year or more than 5 separate periods during the previous 3 years.
