Working within the department of Business Change and Innovation and reporting to the Demand Management Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking business process reviews and demand analysis to inform the Force’s change programme and projects.  This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a team on a variety of projects across all parts of the organisation.

Using a variety of recognised improvement methodologies, tools and techniques including process mapping, you must be able to undertake research to document, review and improve business processes.  You will also be required to gather and analyse complex data to assess demand and recommend improvements to service design and organisational structures. 

The post holder will be required to facilitate group discussions, attend meetings, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders including other Forces and external bodies such as government departments, to contribute to the successful delivery of projects and programmes.  

You will have experience of working to a structured project management approach as part of a team to plan projects, design options for business change and support any subsequent implementation.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to document business processes, produce project reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders at all levels.

Applicants will be required to meet the specialist knowledge outlined in the person specification, including experience of research, process design and analysis.  In addition, you will be educated to degree level in an appropriate subject matter area or have equivalent work experience.
