The successful candidate will work with the Information Compliance Officer to ensure that the Force meets its statutory obligations in respect of Data Protection and Freedom of Information.  The post holder will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and APP Information Management. 

Duties will include responding to all queries in relation to any requests dealt with by the unit and providing support and assistance to the Information Compliance Officer in developing policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with the legislation across the force.
