Personal Assistant to the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner and his Chief Executive and Solicitor

‘An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Personal Assistant to support the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner and his Chief Executive’

The Police and Crime Commissioner, as a directly elected official, is accountable to the public of South Yorkshire for the delivery of efficient and effective policing and crime services.  He has a duty to involve and engage the public, and wider stakeholders, so that their views can be considered and fed into the design and delivery of services that support a safer South Yorkshire.

To be successful you will need to provide high level proactive administrative support including efficient and effective diary management. 

You will be responsible for arranging, coordinating, and on occasions attending and taking minutes of strategic level meetings and events.  You will act as the first point of contact for the Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Executive and be expected to manage email inboxes, screen telephone calls and handle correspondence.

You will need to be confident, diligent and professional at all times and have high standards of integrity.  You must have proven experience of working in a busy office with the ability to prioritise work, manage time effectively and cope with changing priorities and multiple demands.
