Role: Development Assistant    

Department: Performance & Governance

Location: Carbrook – Force HQ

Salary: Band B - £18, 486 – £20, 115          

Hours: 37 Hours per Week          

Contract Type: Permanent

 

Role Purpose:

To provide research and development support in addition to other administrative support duties within the Performance Management Unit. The post holder will review lower level procedures and policies, update web pages and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Publish, internally and externally, new and existing policies and procedural instructions
  • Chase reviews of policies and procedural instructions with department owners
  • Maintain a policy tracker database
  • Maintain department’s intranet site and information resources
  • Deal with enquiries using specialist advice and knowledge
  • Research internal and external processes
  • Provide IT support to the department re preparation of presentations/contracts/documents
  • Project Support
  • Answer enquiries by telephone, e-mail or in person
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post

Eligibility:
