This newly created role is responsible for ensuring risk around the supervision of sex offenders and violent offenders is being effectively and appropriately managed.  You will quality assure risk assessments and management plans identifying additional activity and providing feedback to staff where required. You will also gather and review intelligence to direct resources to where further intervention is required. 

The successful candidate will make recommendations in respect of prioritising offenders for intervention, and analyse information to identify links between offences and offenders.  Working with MOSOVO officers, district colleagues and partnership agencies, you will provide specialist advice and support in the supervision of sex offenders and violent offenders.    

The successful applicant will have knowledge of Sex Offender Legislation, experience of assessing and managing risk, and ideally have experience of working within a partnership environment.
