Role Purpose:

South Yorkshire Police have a vacancy for an Administration Clerk within the Serious and Organised Crime – Vulnerability Department (SOC-V) department.

You will be integral in supporting the team in the investigation of serious and complex investigations and safeguarding victims of crime.

Administrative tasks and responsibilities will include collating data, producing reports/letters, filing documentation, answering telephone calls and some typing requirements albeit there is no requirement to be an accredited/qualified typist.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity.  A minimum checkable history of 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
