Salary: Ranging from £26,565 - £41,517 

Hours: 37 hours per week 

Contract Type: Temporary for 24 months

About our team:

Our team are a joint IT department, serving both Humberside and South Yorkshire Police forces to help keep our communities safe. We are going through a period of change to identify what our service looks like in the future and are looking for several fixed term roles to support the intervening period. As the department develops over the next year, there may be additional opportunities available.

Architect – Salary £37,134 - £41,517. The post holder will be the subject matter expert for SYP and HP and be responsible for evolving and designing technical infrastructure architect produces and solutions with new and current technologies in differing locations.  These will range from network, server, telephony, storage and database specialisms. Technical Lead (Reporting) – Salary -£37,134 – £41,517. The post holder will work as part of a Team to analyse, plan and manage the implementation of Information Technology aspects across SYP and HP in line with IS Strategies and business requirements.  Role profile attached.

Engineer (Database) –Salary £26,565 -£30,420. The post holder will assist with the creation and deployment of Force Business Intelligence reporting and Data Warehouse implementation and will provide database technical support for all force applications BAU.  Role profile attached.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity.  A minimum checkable history of 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
