Details of role:

Applications are invited for the post of Court Liaison Officer within the Criminal Justice Department within South Yorkshire Police. To provide administrative support associated with case files at Magistrates and Crown Court.

Role Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to manage Home Office production orders, provide administration, process and notify completed actions. The successful applicant will be required to manage Summons and enquiries from other forces.

Key Responsibilities:

The post holder will be responsible for Court management; interrogation of LIBRA for other matters/similar offences including dealing with court cases and adjournments.

Skills and experience:

The successful candidate will have experience of communicating by various methods and must have experience of clerical work. Flexibility to work at different locations and within specified time-frames, and also to cover Saturdays and Bank Holiday courts on a rota is a requirement of the post.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years has been identified for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
