Role: Crime Support Clerk

Location: Attercliffe, Sheffield

Salary: £18,951 - £20,619 (pro-rata)

Hours: 16 hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary (to cover leave)

Working days: Thursday and Friday

 

Role Purpose:

The post holder will provide general administrative support within the CID administration unit.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will interrogate and/or retrieve data from various computer systems including CONNECT, SMART Contact, PNC and Caspre. To update and maintain CMS ii.

The successful applicant will also collate and disseminate data from CONNECT, CMS ii and PNC in order to confirm stolen vehicles, liaise with Criminal Justice Unit and other offices within South Yorkshire Police.

Skills and experience:

The post holder must have previous administrative and computer experience and be competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, Email and the internet,

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years / 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
