Role Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative and call handling support to the Referral Unit and support to officers within District PPU.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will provide call handling and administrative support to the PVP Referral Unit whilst maintaining and updating records and systems and inventories in the PVP Referral Unit.

You will also create and update records on the SYP Child Protection Database and process telephone calls to the Referral Unit and prioritise as appropriate.

Skills and experience:

The post holder will have experience of using Microsoft Word packages and working with confidential information.

You must be able to type/input accurately.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years has been identified for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
