We are a regional procurement unit supporting the four Police Forces and Police and Crime Commissioners in the Yorkshire and the Humber region and have an office base within each of the four Force areas.

These posts are specifically to work on West Yorkshire projects and will, therefore, be based from our Wakefield Office, with the customer base being around that area.  However, we do work in an agile manner as a regional team and have the associated technology in place to make this work, so we would be happy to discuss how we can best utilise those resources to support successful candidates in this respect.  Please feel free to call us before applying or at the interview stage if you are not located in West Yorkshire and wish to discuss this further.

We are looking to appoint experienced and full MCIPS qualified (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Level 6 Graduate Diploma) professionals with a full understanding of public sector procurement to join our regional team.  Successful candidates will be established, experienced professionals with the ability to manage complex collaborative procurement exercises and have a track record of delivering savings and other efficiencies.

We offer an attractive employment package with flexible working arrangements and 32 days annual leave entitlement in addition to statutory holidays.

For more information regarding the role responsibilities, please see the Summary of Main Duties & for a breakdown of the essential criteria, please refer to the Person Specification.
