The successful applicant will represent South Yorkshire Police at Magistrates and Crown Court, prepare and check files for Court, make decisions on disposal of cases.

The successful applicant will also liaise with CPS and Police Led Prosecutors and with external partners and defence solicitors where appropriate.  Upgrades files and carries out the disclosure of unused material. Use various systems including:- Star Dome, Pentip, DORS, Navicom, DVS, PNC, CRASH, Pronto, CONNECT.  Maintain an up to date understanding of the legislation surrounding Road Traffic Law relating to Speed, Red Light and s172 offences.
