Hours: 29 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract/Secondment (Until 31 Dec 2019)

 

Role Purpose:

This post holder will be required to give advice and liaise with both internal and external customers for the Facilities Management Helpdesk.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will liaise with the engineers/technical team on a daily basis regarding requests received via the helpdesk portal and will also maintain the Energy Bill Management database, recording actual against the meter readings.

The ideal candidate will also create monthly reports for the management team on project/contract spends and engineer work-streams from the Asset management system, whilst maintaining the Estates portfolio on the asset management system.

Skills and experience:

Computers skills are essential for the monitoring and updating of the Property Asset system and the raising of orders to external contractors.

Applicants must be competent in the use of Microsoft word, excel, email and the internet, whilst having excellent communication skills.

Eligibility:

A minimum checkable history of 3 years has been identified for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
