Applications are invited for the role of Mounted Police Sergeant.

To supervise Mounted Section officers ensuring the most effective and efficient deployment of resources, managing the staff, stables and horses to ensure that correct procedures are followed for the proper welfare of the animals, in line with the National Mounted Training Manual.

To ensure training is delivered for novice horses and riders to a standard, whereby the efficiency of the section is maintained and to ensure that continuation training is provided for both horses and riders in line with the recommendations from the National Mounted Training Manual.
