We are a regional procurement unit supporting the four Police Forces and Police and Crime Commissioners in the Yorkshire and the Humber region and have an office base within each of the four Force areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in Public Sector Procurement to join our regional team as a Category Officer and to develop via an apprenticeship programme to gaining CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) Level 4 qualification and potential for further development to full MCIPS Chartered status.   

There is a requirement to travel across the region to meet with customers but the successful candidate may choose a base from one of our four regional offices in Melton, Northallerton, Sheffield or Wakefield.
