An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced administrator to join our Safety Camera and Ticket Processing Unit. The post will be attractive to candidates with appropriate leadership/management experience as it involves specific first-line management of staff within a designated area of operations. Tasks will include prioritisation, working rotas, performance management, welfare, discipline and development of staff.

To be considered, you must have previous supervisory experience and have the ability to demonstrate experience of clerical duties in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Force code of Ethics
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Provide specialist advice and knowledge
  • Participate in meetings
  • Liaise with outside agencies to promote a positive working relationships

Skills and experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience of using Microsoft applications e.g. MS Word, Excel etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience of clerical duties in an office environment.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years / 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
