The post holder will work as part of a team delivering second line support across SYP and HP in line with IS strategies and business requirements. The post holder will primarily be working on the Windows 10 rollout and will be involved in the planning and implementation of the new operating system. This will involve replacing hardware, utilising SCCM for software deployments, offering general customer support and floor walking after deployment has taken place.

 

When not involved in Windows 10 deployments the post holding will be expected to revert back to offering second line support in line with the core activities of the Desktop Team, therefore previous IT Support experience is essential along with a working knowledge of deployment techniques. 

 

It would be desirable for the post holder to have an understanding of ITIL and project planning methodologies.
