Applications are invited from individuals accredited in restraint and confiscation (Pt 2 POCA 2002) or accredited Financial Investigators who can demonstrate skills, abilities and an aptitude commensurate with the role of financial confiscator. 

 

A background from the financial sector, or relevant experience or training would be of significant benefit.  An extensive training programme is offered to provide you with the relevant aspects of investigation, including exhibit handling, statement taking, Disclosure, interviewing as well as the necessary development to gain accreditation.

 

The successful applicant will lead a small team of financial Investigators, and manage all aspects of the restraint and confiscation process.  This includes the administration of restraints and confiscation orders in support of all relevant investigations.  You will also provide strategic direction and tactical knowledge in deciding on investigative options, as well as support to other investigations with a financial element.

 

The ideal applicant will need to be able to communicate well both written and verbally, and be able to work to deadlines, adapt to changing circumstance and be a highly motivated individual.  You will need to become a good problem solver and be able to work as part of a team, as well having personal responsibility for deliverables.

 

The vacancies exist in various locations within South Yorkshire.
