We are seeking to recruit an experienced Cleaning Supervisor based in South Yorkshire.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and developing cleaning operations at multi- site locations. You will organise and plan routine tasks supplemented with periodical non-routine tasks, which require specialist trained staff to enhance service provision, force wide.   You will also be responsible for implementing training and developing staff.

To be considered you must hold a full clean driving licence and be trained in BICS’s and Chemical Identification (COSHH).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Supervision of cleaning staff
  • Responsible for the provision of operational cleaning to the required specification, within a specific geographical area throughout South Yorkshire Police.
  • Allocate workloads fairly and in accordance with the contract specification
  • Ensure that the security requirement of each location is adhered to by the cleaning work force.
  • Monitor expenditure through the use of weekly hours allocated
  • Carry out site quality inspections and quality control

Skills and experience:

  • Industrial Cleaning Work History
  • Experience of working to specifications
  • 764/1 & 764/2 qualification or equivalent
  • Trained in Chemical identification (COSHH)
  • Willing to work unsociable hours as required
  • Hold a Full Manual Driving Licence

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years / 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
