Please note the requirement for flexibility to work at different locations and within specified time-frames, and also to cover Saturdays and Bank Holiday courts on a rota.#

Role Purpose:

To provide administrative support associated with case files at Magistrates and Crown Court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing group e-mail account and ensuring appropriate distribution of communication.
  • Requirement to communicate with members of the public to advise of court outcomes and progression of prosecution cases.
  • Ability to monitor receipt and progression of cases to support prosecution process.
  • Flexible approach to duties essential
  • Ability to meet deadlines essential
  • Saturday and Bank Holiday working required to facilitate remand file process
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post
  • Monitoring and managing outstanding work within the electronic case file system (CONNECT).
  • Liaison with internal/external agencies.
  • Interrogate/Input/Retrieve information from various computer packages.

  • Experience of communication by various methods
  • Experience of interrogating/maintaining and retrieving data/information using various computer and manual records.

Eligibility:
