Be the future of South Yorkshire Police.

We have exciting opportunities available for experienced detective constables & sergeants to join our investigation teams.

From the streets of Sheffield to the quiet hills of the countryside, joining South Yorkshire Police means being there for your community and its locals when and where they need it most.

Our units and teams lead the force response into a range of serious and complex investigations and we are looking for experienced detectives to join our teams in working together to keep our communities safe, identify and protect vulnerable people and prevent and respond to harm.

South Yorkshire Police offer relocation and removal expenses up to a maximum of £8000 to transferring officers currently living outside of the force area and at least 50 miles from their permanent place of work.
