We are looking for exceptional officers who are seeking lateral transfer or promotion to the rank of Chief Inspector and Superintendent rank to help us achieve this.

We are looking for officers who:-

• Are inspirational leaders, with the ability to quickly take command of their area of responsibility;
• Have a sound operational footprint with evidence of excellent operational delivery;
• Have the ability to connect with officers, staff and key stakeholders at all levels in order to effectively deliver excellent and high quality policing to the public of Humberside;
• Demonstrate evidence of their ability to drive, improve and deliver performance outcomes;
• Be innovative and creative in their approach with experience of supporting and delivering successful cultural transition to becoming an outstanding Force;
• Be truly committed and passionate about the service provided to the public of Humberside.

Full details of the process will be provided in the application pack which will include an overview of the requirement of the rank and detail the steps of the process. This will be supplemented by a Manual of guidance published with the application form that provides all relevant information.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates will:

• Have 18 months substantive in the rank of Chief Inspector for the Superintendent promotion Process and 18 months substantive at Inspector Rank for the Chief Inspector Process (Continuous service at temporary rank will be counted, and Inspectors must have met the standard for National Police Promotions Framework (NPPF4)
