Humberside Police have exciting opportunities available for experienced  Detective Constables, Detective Sergeants & Detective Inspectors to join a forward thinking, modern Police Force who provide a wide range of career opportunities and career development.

We are looking to attract Detective Constables, Detective Sergeants & Detective Inspectors to directly transfer into our Major Crime Team.

To be eligible to transfer to Humberside Police, you must:

  • Be a current serving police officer in a Home Office force
  • Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues
  • Have resided in the UK for three years immediately prior to submitting your application, or able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct from the relevant country.
  • Have successfully completed your probationary period with your Force prior to submitting your application

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to a competency based interview.  Humberside Police test officers on the Police Professional Framework (PPF).
