HUMBERSIDE POLICE – SURVEILLANCE MOTORCYCLIST

The dedicated surveillance team of Humberside Police are seeking to fill a vacancy for an experienced Surveillance Motorcyclist. The ideal candidate will be qualified as a Q1 Surveillance officer and as a surveillance motorcyclist, with experience in the role.

Humberside Police do not currently have a tenure policy and the successful candidate will work within the team providing the force with surveillance support at Level 1 and Level 2. The post is located within the Hull area with the specialist command Serious and Organised Crime Unit.

Applicants must be Q1 Surveillance trained, current motorcycle licence holders, and must be willing to undertake an advanced bike course and surveillance motorcycle course.

To be eligible to transfer to Humberside Police, you must:

• Be a current serving police officer in a Home Office force
• Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues
• Have resided in the UK for three years immediately prior to submitting your application.
• Have successfully completed your probationary period with your Force prior to submitting your application
  
  

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to a competency based interview.  Humberside Police test officers on the Police Professional Framework (PPF).
