Humberside Police is now accepting applications from Detective Constables Transferees for open vacancies across the force area. 

You will join a forward thinking, modern Police Force, who’s aim is to provide first class service to the communities within Humberside. As well as this, we also provide a wide range of career opportunities and career development. To enable us to continue delivering these objectives we are seeking Detective Constables who want to transfer to us.

We offer the opportunity to work within East Yorkshire, Hull and North/ North East Lincolnshire, which is home to coast, city and countryside. We have vacancies across the force area and within a wide range of departments.

Humberside Police offer relocation/removal expenses of up to a maximum £8000 to transferring officers who live outside the force area and at least 50 miles from their permanent place of work.

  • PSD - Detective Constable
  • PVP - MDSHT Constable
  • PVP - Core Constable
  • PVP - POLIT
  • PVP - CSE
  • PVP - MOSOVO
  • People Services - DC Crime Assessor
  • Specialist - Drugs Expert Witness

To be eligible to transfer to Humberside Police, you must:

  • Be a current serving police officer in a Home Office force
  • Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues
  • Have resided in the UK for three years immediately prior to submitting your application, or able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct from the relevant country
  • Have successfully completed your probationary period with your Force prior to submitting your application

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to a competency based interview.

Those successful at interview will be required to undergo the following checks before appointment:

  • Sickness Criteria
  • Misconduct
  • Tattoo Clearances

 

Due to the changes to entry routes for police officers and IPLDP no longer being an accredited training course, at this time we are unable to accept applications from police officers from Non- Home Office forces.   The reason for this is due to these officers requiring initial training which is now unable under the new programmes.  We hope to find a solution as soon as possible.
