An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Legal Services Department of Humberside Police

The role of Legal Services Officer is key in dealing with requests for the disclosure of police held information into Children Act Proceedings, civil claims on behalf of the Chief Constable and provide internal advice on legal aspects of Force policy and procedure.

You will work as part of a talented team, providing a comprehensive range of legal advice and representation to the Chief Constable but in the main, you will deal with civil claims.

Accordingly, you must demonstrate strong civil litigation skills and have the necessary flexibility to offer support in the handling of other aspects of policing.

The role will be based at Priory Road Hull, though occasional travel to South Yorkshire will be required.
