Hours:  37 Per week (Full-Time) Hybrid

As the Leadership & Management Trainer, you will design, develop, and deliver leadership & management training to a high standard to police officers & staff within Humberside Police providing opportunity for development. The successful candidate will provide operational instruction and support to Force Personnel within Humberside Police.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing training and individual performance to optimise training
  • Delivering constructive feedback to provide direction for student’s developments.
  • Conducts training and is competent in dealing with large or small groups, Reviews course content on a regular basis with the Leadership & Management Training Manager to ensure that material is relevant and up to date with new developments and regularly reviews the presentations provided by outside speakers for quality and content.

  • ensuring that each session is structured to meet the needs of the students and applies the most appropriate training methodology

  • Undertakes course administration in relation to attendance of students, bookings of speakers, course programming and maintenance of course materials to ensure the smooth running of training courses.
  • Participates in national discussions/negotiations with regards to the development of training and provides Force wide advice on all matters concerning legislation and policy.

 

What the role requires:

  • Holds a teaching or training qualification at Level 4 or above or equivalent (or is willing to work towards)
  • Experience of using Microsoft applications in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of operating within a confidential environment
  • Experience of working in a customer orientated field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Carries out tasks in an accurate and methodical manner with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
