Applications are invited from Constables who have completed their probationary period by the closing date of this advert.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.
In this role, you will perform functions and maintain systems that support operational activity within the CTU and deal with contingency planning, ensuring awareness of plans and processes if contingencies need to be activated.
In this role you need to have basic computer literacy and keyboard skills and experience of using relevant IT systems, including MS Office, and Previous experience in a role involving the preparation of plans e.g. contingency planning.
It will also be useful if you are willing and able to travel across the region and nationally for business purposes, as well as have the ability to be able to be deployed beyond their regional force boundaries in support of other UK regions as directed by DACSO or the NCPP.
This will be a posting for West Yorkshire Police officers or a secondment to the Regional Forces. If you wish to be considered for a secondment you will require permission from your current Force in order to be eligible to apply.
