This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a unique team supporting the work of the North East Counter Terrorism Unit.
We are looking to recruit an Intelligence Researcher to join NECTU and work as part of a small team. Your main duties will be to gather, collate, research and evaluate information and intelligence on identified individuals and organisations, assisting in the preparation and presentation of a variety of intelligence packages.
Eligible candidates will come with previous experience gained within an intelligence environment and/or experience of research together with proven office experience. You will also need a working knowledge of a range of computerised databases.
In addition, you must be prepared to travel for business purposes and work flexibly to suit the needs of the CTU, potentially working for extended periods across or outside the NE Region.
The successful candidate must be a British Citizen and will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. For security reasons you should not discuss your application with anyone other than your immediate family.
