Expression of Interests are sought from highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals that are seeking to make the most of this development opportunity, within the organisation.

 

You will be in a position to expand your knowledge and operate at a more strategic level within the Force. You will be required to support the Chief Officers department with projects, research and day-to-day activities. You will need to be able to communicate with individuals, both internally and externally. You will gain an insight into the wider considerations for the Force and be pivotal in ensuring that Chief Officers are supported to meet Force needs.

 

The successful applicant would be required to take up post in early June 2019.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will provide an efficient and effective range of support services to the Chief Officers within specified timescales, often under pressure and to the highest of quality standards.

 

You will be responsible for maintaining awareness of potential reputational and high impact instances and highlighting them as appropriate.

 

The successful applicant will:

 

  • Be the Rank of Sergeant, or in the promotion pool and is eligible to be promoted. (This is a development post and therefore officers will have been identified as someone with potential for further advancement within the organisation).
  • Have principles that are professionally and ethically sound.
  • Demonstrate integrity in conflict of interest situations.
  • Be able to interrogate Force systems as required.
