Role: Service Delivery Analyst (Application Support)

Department: Information Services

Location: Nunnery Square, Sheffield / Melton, Hull

Salary: Band E - £29, 289 - £33, 771

Hours: 37 Hours per Week

Contract: Fixed Term Contract / Secondment – 12 Months

 

The Application Support Team are responsible for the provision, maintenance and upgrades to a vast amount of applications. It is therefore essential that the candidate has an understanding of the Force applications, in particularly business critical applications for both Humberside and South Yorkshire Police.

The post holder will be expected to be based at Melton in Humberside but will be expected to travel between South Yorkshire and Humberside when the need arises.

To be considered suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:-

  • Key understanding of Application Packaging / Testing / Deployment methodologies
  • Managing application upgrades with supplier support and intervention
  • A working understanding of IT Service Management principles in particularly Problem, Change and Release Management

The following skills and experience are desirable:-

  • MS SQL
  • HTML / CSS
  • MS SharePoint
  • Active Directory
  • SCCM
  • Snow
  • Trend Analysis / Reporting
  • GIS / Gazetteer Knowledge
