Hours:  37 Per week (Full-Time) Office Based - Flexible working available, To be agreed with the line manager

As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will supervise staff and workload within the Quality Assurance team.

The successful candidate will supervise and support staff working within the QA Team. Monitoring the progress of new and existing staff via PDR’s and regular reviews providing developmental opportunities with the intention of enhancing team members skills.

 Previous experience working within an office-based environment and customer focused field is key, as you will deal with enquiries from members of staff, stakeholders and other departments you will be working with.

You will work with the training teams to ensure that all work developed, delivered and reviewed is in line with best practice, meets the needs of students and is appropriate to the needs of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and supports staff working within the QA Team. Monitoring the progress of new and existing staff via PDR’s and regular reviews providing developmental opportunities with the intention of enhancing team members skills.
  • Provides reports and management information to the L&D management team on issues resulting to areas of specific work.
  • Allocates tasks received from the L&D management team and any external bodies ensuring equality of work across the team as well as monitoring the advice team members provide to individual enquirers ensuring it represents best practice.
  • Provides cover for line manager and QA officer where required (holidays and sickness etc.).
  • Identifies areas for income generation and ways to maximise potential with resources available.
  • Monitors evaluation results ensuring development is delivered to the highest standard.

 

What the role requires:

  • Previous experience of training course design, planning and evaluation
  • Management at level 3 or above (Willing to work towards)
  • Experience of working in a customer orientated field
  • Possesses well developed communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate at all levels, both internal and external to the organisation. Communication could include, group presentation, 1-2-1, written, listening and feedback skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision when required.
  • Carries out tasks in an accurate and methodical manner with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
