The Contact Management Programme is a collaboration between South Yorkshire and Humberside for the replacement of core IS systems. A comprehensive programme of work commenced in early 2016 to implement systems across both forces.  The CMP team are now approaching a very challenging period with testing, supporting training and go live across both Forces and successful applicants will need to be very flexible and committed to the one team ethos.

This work will involve testing of the solution, fully considering how business processes can be streamlined to deliver more effective and efficient IT across both forces. Knowledge of existing IS systems within the call handling environment is essential.

The successful applicant will offer a range of skills, qualities and experience that, together with current team members, will contribute to effective team working, contributing to the overall implementation objectives. The ability to operate across both forces and within unfamiliar work streams is essential.

There is now an exciting opportunity for two staff from either Humberside or South Yorkshire to join the Contact Management Programme team. It is anticipated that the successful applicants will be seconded to the programme for six months. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across both Forces.

Under the leadership of the Project Inspector or equivalent, the above officers will be responsible for accepting project work packages and working closely with the chosen supplier to ensure delivery of products and process change.

This opportunity is open to Police Staff and the successful applicants will remain employed in their home force retaining their own current terms and conditions and will be paid at their existing substantive rank or grade. Line manager support is required, however, funding has been agreed for these posts therefore the successful candidates post can be backfilled.
