We are a regional procurement unit supporting the four Police Forces and Police and Crime Commissioners in the Yorkshire and the Humber region (Humberside Police, North Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Police).  We have an office base within each of the four Force areas.

The successful candidates for the Category Manager post will be established, experienced fully CIPS qualified professionals with full understanding of public sector procurement.  They will have the ability to undertake complex collaborative procurement exercises, delivery of category strategies and contract reviews and have a track record of delivering savings and other efficiencies.

There is a requirement to travel across the region to meet with customers but the successful candidate would be able to choose the most convenient of our offices to base themselves.
