The role of an Application Support Analyst is to support, package, implement and deploy all Force Applications to the IT estate of SYP and HP in a controlled manner. Working as part of a team you will be supported by colleagues in order to share knowledge and experience whilst utilising a number of tools and methods in order to package and wrap deployable applications.

 

  • To provide a specialist and professional service for the support and maintenance of force applications and systems.
  • To ensure the pro-active monitoring of all applications is undertaken and if necessary remedial action instigated.
  • To provide technical knowledge in specific applications support activities, ensure ongoing communication with users regarding application performance and the evolving needs of the business.
  • To assist the Senior Analyst and Team Leader by ensuring appropriate third line support and incident resolution is maintained.
  • To liaise with IS technical staff and projects and provide advice and assistance within the sphere of expertise.
