The overall purpose of this role is to manage the operational deployment of dog section resources including the supervision of staff and the effective utilisation of police dogs. To provide general and specialist police dog services in support of Divisions and Branches for routine policing and special operations. To manage the day to day running of the department.

Applicants must be the rank of Sergeant or in the promotion pool and is eligible to be promoted.
