HP – INVESTIGATING OFFICER (IO5)

DEPARTMENT – MAJOR CRIME TEAM

LOCATION – SCUNTHORPE

TERM – FIXED TERM (2 YEARS)

HOURS – 37 HOURS

SCALE & PAY – SCALE 5 (£21,999 – £24,030)

ALLOWANCES - WEEKEND WORKING WHERE APPLICABLE & 10% IRREGULAR WORKING

We are seeking staff who have experience of working in the challenging and complex world of historic child abuse or who have extensive safeguarding and investigation experience dealing with vulnerability.

We want to provide a consistent and professional service to the victims so would like anyone interested in these roles to be prepared to commit for the duration of the contract.  The contracts are full time and for 2 years initially.

We would particularly welcome applications from anyone with SCAIDP / SSAIDP accreditation or equivalent (VVO / VWO).  The role will be based at Scunthorpe but remote working will be possible.  Travel and overnight stays may be necessary on occasion.
