We are looking to recruit a part-time Identification Database Officer (18.5 hours, Monday - Wednesday) to join the Regional Scientific Support Services team based in Wakefield.

 

Identification Database Officers provide support to the Regional Identification Bureau in relation to validating, processing, researching, identifying and recording Fingerprint and Footwear samples to ensure the integrity of national data in accordance with legislation and Force Policy and Procedure.

 

We are looking to recruit an individual who has excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Basic knowledge of computerised database and software packages, such as Microsoft, is essential.

 

Candidates must also have excellent organisational skills, a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to prioritise their workload to deliver service provision that meets customer requirements.

 

Candidates may be required to undertake an aptitude test in pattern, fingerprint and footwear comparison. Successful candidates may then be invited for interview.
