The National Crime Agency sits at the heart of law enforcement response to protect the public against serious and organised crime. We are looking for exceptional leaders to fill a number of vacancies across our Senior Leadership Team. We have vacancies at Deputy Director level including Capability Engineering, National Economic Crime Centre (NECC), HR Chief Operating Officer, and Investigations, Intelligence and Threat Leadership. This advertisement is for Deputy Director National Economic Crime Centre. The NECC is a new capability set up to tackle the growing threat from illicit finances. It sits at the apex of the government, law enforcement and private sector response to economic crime. The post holder will:

●     Forge highly effective partnerships across a range of stakeholder organisations, including law enforcement; regulatory authorities; Government; and the private sector.

●     Develop an authoritative intelligence picture of the threats to the UK from economic crime, commissioning activity from intelligence assessment and collection capabilities within the NCA and across the UK.

●     Act as a role model to lead, inspire, innovate, empower and develop officers within your business area and across the Agency.

 

To be successful, we expect you to demonstrate evidence of ability to deliver a multi-agency operational response which has a sustained impact on a threat, reducing harm to the public. You must demonstrate proven leadership of change with the ability to articulate strategic vision, and delivery of substantial improvements to increase operational effectiveness. You must have experience of building effective partnerships across public and private sectors with international partners at a strategic level. Also, evidence of exceptional communication ability, as well as the ability to build a high-performing team which creates a culture to promote diversity and innovation, and inspire motivation.

 

Please note you will be expected to acquire and retain Developed Vetting security clearance.
