Salary: £65,478

Humberside Police is pleased to be seeking the appointment of a Superintendent to fulfil the role of Authorising Officer who will have direct line management for the DCI Director of Intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity for a determined, motivated, dynamic and creative individual who will be instrumental in supporting the success of our organisation.

Requirements

  • Applications are welcomed from current Superintendents who wish to transfer to Humberside Police or from candidates who are seeking promotion to this rank (Chief Inspectors must have 18 months of substantive service – periods of continuous temporary service will be counted).
  • Applicants must either be an accredited Authorising Officer or commit to the training and development required to become accredited.
  • Experience in covert policing and PIP level 2 or 3 accreditation is desirable but not essential.
  • Candidates will need to achieve the necessary vetting and medical clearances required.
