We are a regional procurement unit supporting the four Police Forces and Police and Crime Commissioners in the Yorkshire and the Humber region and have an office base within each of the four Force areas.

We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Category Manager to join our regional team who has achieved the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Level 6 Graduate Diploma (see Person Specification). The successful candidate will be an established, experienced professional with an understanding of public sector procurement with the ability to manage complex collaborative procurement exercises and have a track record of delivering savings and other efficiencies. 

There is a requirement to travel across the region to meet with customers but the successful candidate may choose a base from one of our four regional offices in Melton, Northallerton, Sheffield or Wakefield.

Interviews are to be held on: Tuesday 20th, Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd February 2018.
