Counter Terrorism Policing – North East (CTP NE)

Applications are invited from Constables for places on the succession list, who have completed their probationary period by the closing date of this advert.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role supporting Counter Terrorism work in District based teams across West Yorkshire.

Counter Terrorism Policing North East are seeking individuals who are well organised, have an ability to engage successfully with a wide range of people, and ideally have partnership working, safeguarding and/or offender management experience.

Officers should have a working knowledge of the current CT strategy, Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015, Channel Programme and Prevent strategy either through research or working practice and have experience of working with/problem solving with external agencies. You will also have a good knowledge and ability to operate Police IT systems.

In addition you must be willing to work flexible working hours and call-outs as required to suit CTP requirements and willing to work within the UK wherever required as part of the a regional and national response.

This will be a posting for West Yorkshire Police officers and a secondment to the Regional Forces. As this is a secondment you will require permission from your current Force in order to be eligible to apply.
