We are a regional procurement unit supporting the four Police Forces and Police and Crime Commissioners in the Yorkshire and the Humber region and have an office base within each of the four Force areas.
We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Senior Category Manager to join our regional team who has achieved the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Level 6 Graduate Diploma (see Person Specification). The successful candidate will be a well-established, experienced professional with a full understanding of public sector procurement with the ability to manage a category area, undertake complex procurement exercises and lead and motivate others.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate capability in line with the requirements set out in the Person Specification.
There is a requirement to travel across the region to meet with customers but the successful candidate would be able to choose the most convenient of our offices to base themselves.
