Exciting opportunities have arisen, for dedicated Police Constables or Detective Constables to join Crime Support Team, within the Serious and Organised Crime Unit.

 

The successful candidates will undertake surveillance activities, on a daily basis, using the appropriate surveillance knowledge, techniques and equipment, in support of Police operations.

 

The Role

 

You will assist the Commands operation, by responding to targeted and active, in-Force criminals, and seek to develop criminal intelligence, on a proactive basis, in compliance with the National and Force intelligence models

 

You will liaise with Intelligence Officers in relation to intelligence and target packages, as directed by senior colleagues.

 

The successful applicant will:

 

  • Possess an awareness of a broad range of legal and procedural knowledge, which is operationally relevant
  • Hold a current, full driving licence for both, Motor Cycles and Cars
  • Be Level 1 Surveillance trained
  • Possess an understanding of relevant criminal law, especially PACE
