Location: Priory Road, Hull

We are looking for a talented Communications Manager with experience of managing relationships with the media to join our team for a 12 month secondment.  This is a great opportunity for someone who has the vision and ideas to help us develop new ways of working to deliver great quality communications and marketing, as well as gaining first hand communications leadership experience.

It is a fantastic time to be part of Humberside Police – with a new Chief Officer team in place – and a Corporate Communications Department which is growing and changing at a significant pace.  The Communications Manager (Media and external) will work as part of the Corporate Communications leadership team to ensure that communications is central to the new force vision to deliver safer and stronger communities. 

You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and experience, whilst bringing your knowledge and skills of media and reputation management to the organisation.  The successful applicant will be empowered to bring their vision and ideas to life within a team and force which is growing in confidence and success.
