An exciting opportunity has become available in Legal Services for a Solicitor; the successful candidate will need to be a qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate. They will need to demonstrate experience of advising on a range of complex matters, as well has possessing excellent communication skills and good advocacy, negotiating & analytical skills.

The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide legal advice & representation in matter before Tribunals and Courts to ensure that the Chief Constable and South Yorkshire Police are properly represented in such matters. They will also be expected to provide advice on any aspect on the law relating to the Police Service, as well as, matters relating to the disclosure of information in both criminal and civil proceedings.
