West Yorkshire Police as the lead Force for the Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Scientific Support Services is looking to recruit a Crime Scene Investigation Trainer to join the CSI Training Team based at Ossett in Wakefield.
We are looking to recruit a CSI Training Support Officer to maintain administrative systems and prepare training material/facilities to assist in the provision of an efficient and effective regional CSI training service.
In this role you will assist in the preparation of courses/seminars, booking facilities, handouts, course notes, practical material and training scenarios.
To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate either clerical or administrative experience and demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
You will be responsible for maintaining training and competency records and carry out health and safety checks as per unit procedures and maintain accurate records relating to these checks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of office systems and procedures, as well as a working knowledge of computer packages such as Microsoft Office. Eligible candidates must have the ability to type at a competent level.
Due to the nature of the role, you must provide Biometric samples (fingerprints and DNA) for inclusion on the respective police elimination databases for routine speculative searching purposes, and be prepared to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the Crime Scene Investigation Team; possession of a full current UK/European driving licence is essential
