Applications are invited from substantive Detective Chief Inspectors.

 

This will be a posting for West Yorkshire Police officers and a secondment to the Regional Forces. As this is a secondment you will require permission from your current Force in order to be eligible to apply.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a regional alliance that is a key component in the response to serious and organised criminality in the Yorkshire and Humber Region.

This key position will encompass a range of responsibilities including, managing resources to ensure an effective response to tackling serious and organised crime impacting on the Region.

 

We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified senior officer with excellent leadership qualities. The right candidate will be self-motivated, able to influence at all levels and have a high degree of positive personal impact.

 

In addition, you will have experience of managing serious and complex crime, an understanding of and experience of managing a budget effectively.  You must also be able to demonstrate knowledge of financial investigation.

 

Basic knowledge of and ability to operate computerised databases and spreadsheet packages is essential for this role.

 

You must hold a full current UK/European driving licence and have access to a private motor vehicle and be prepared to use this for Police purposes. 

 

The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
