An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.
As a CT Trainer you will be responsible for creating, designing and delivering local, regional and national CT Training and exercises to CT colleagues throughout the North East Region and develop organisational learning opportunities.
This role would suit candidates who have knowledge of CT investigative/intelligence/operational practice gained through personal experience or research, who are able to display the ability to complete advanced Police accredited training and other nationally accredited training qualifications with the ability to deliver training on a complex and sensitive issues at senior management level within the Police and external partner agencies. You will have knowledge of current best practice within a relevant intelligence field gained through experience or research to ensure that training is updated or replaced in line with changes in prevailing needs, have an understanding of the relevant of diversity issues to this role, experience in the design and delivery of training and exercises, together with good communication and interpersonal skills.
In addition, you must receive clearance from enhanced vetting procedures, be prepared to work flexibly to suit the needs of the unit (which may include occasional out of hours cover), and be able to travel both regionally and nationally for business purposes.
